The trustees oversee the work of the charity, giving support and advice using their experience in fundraising, communications, finance and project delivery.

Carol Bradford
Chair of Board

Carol is an independent consultant in sexual and reproduction health, with field experience in Latin America, South Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa. 

With technical expertise in reproductive health, including family planning and abortion, maternal health, HIV/AIDS and the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, Carol has extensive experience in organisational development, monitoring and evaluation and strategic planning.

JP Agrawal
 

JP has substantial experience in international finance and banking. In 2012 he founded Derivatives Value Advisor Ltd (DVAL), providing advisory services on derivatives and financial market solutions. 

JP also has a Masters in International Finance (MIF) from University of Amsterdam, and a Master of Technology (M. Tech) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, India.

Deborah Botwood-Smith
 

Deborah is the current Director of Development at Best for Britain, an organisation advocating for staying in the EU and a People’s Vote on the final Brexit terms.

Deborah has advised companies at the most senior level on reputation and governance issues, marketing, thought leadership and crisis management for over twenty-five years.

Meg Braddock
 

Meg is a specialist in sexual and reproductive health and rights, with wide experience in programme design, management and technical assistance in developing countries.  

She has worked in the public and NGO sectors and has 25 years practical experience in programme development in public-private partnerships, work with adolescents, and innovative financing methods.

Peter Clokey
Treasurer

Peter is a consultant to the corporate finance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

He has extensive international experience, having led a World Bank project in Tanzania and advised clients in the Middle East and across south-east Asia, where he lived for several years.

Meera Dodhia
 

Meera has over 5 years’ experience in various roles in finance under the NGO sector, particularly in sexual, reproductive and maternal health. 

She has been heavily involved in producing statutory reports, monthly reporting and has more recently been a regional finance advisor in ensuring there is compliance to accounting policies.

Roz Marsh

Roz qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and has worked in a variety of commercial and compliance departments for organisations such as Mercer Ltd, WorldPay and Lloyds Bank. 

Roz currently works for Barclays Bank as a senior lawyer in the Operations, Technology & Commercial team, gaining experience of advising senior stakeholders on complex legal issues.

Audrey Prost

Audrey is Professor of Global Health and Head of Doctoral College at The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. 

Her expertise in her research is around designing and evaluating community interventions to improve maternal, child and adolescent health in India. These include interests in participatory interventions and community engagement methods, as undertaken by Women and Children First.

Laura Salisbury

Laura is a freelance Bristol based fundraising and events consultant, and has worked in the voluntary sector for nearly 15 years.

Laura feels strongly about social justice, and particularly issues pertaining to gender equality and has an MSc in Gender, Development and Globalisation from the LSE.

Jo Torode

Jo is a Barrister and experienced litigator whose practice covers the spectrum of commercial litigation and regulatory investigations. 

She has particular expertise in the conduct of high profile, local and cross-border investigations, as well as proceedings involving the civil, criminal and regulatory aspects of financial and corporate wrongdoing.

Christopher Thorpe

Christopher is an IT expert with extensive project and programme management experience. His skills and expertise lie in enabling business to achieve their goals and thrives on making a difference. 

Christopher has a background working in the private, commercial and public sectors. He is currently working for Rosebery Housing Association, where he is Head of IT.
